Mahindra Renault Logan – Launched in India
Mahindra Renault Logan is a sports utility vehicle (SUV) launched in India by the joint venture between Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra and French automaker Renault. Logan is not performing up to the expectations of the Mahindra Renault company. Recently, the two partners got involved in discussions to change the strategy regarding Logan in the country. The collaboration may undergo some changes in the coming days.
It has released Logan in India in several variants. These include Logan, Logan Edge, Edge Connect, and Play. Its versions available in the country include Ma.4 GL Gasoline, 1.4 GLE Gasoline, 1.6 GLX Gasoline, 1.6 GLS Gasoline, 1.5 DLE Diesel, 1.5 DLX Diesel and Mahindra Renault Logan 1.5 DLS Diesel.
It has an overall length of 4,250 mm, an overall width of 1,740 mm and an overall height of 1,525 mm. The car, with a ground clearance of 172 mm, has a 510-liter trunk. The 4-door SUV seats 5 people. The vehicle’s 1461 cc engine offers a maximum torque of 16 to 2000 (kgm at rpm).
It offers a mileage of 19.2 km/liter on the highway, 13.8 km/liter in the city and in general it offers a mileage of 15.3 km/liter. The SUV can deliver the maximum speed of 142 km/hour. The top-of-the-range 1.5 DLS Diesel has features such as air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, power steering, driver air bags, central locking, tachometer, child locks, front fog lights, rear defogger, FM radio and CD player.
