Emerging technology is changing the way we do business

I love technology and we are fortunate to live at a time when most of us are experiencing the great evolution of technology. For example, we have cars that are on our streets driving themselves. We have incredible advances in medicine and we have eradicated diseases. And, as America moves from government to public-private partnerships, I’m sure we’re going to see incredible achievements in the space industry as humanity seeks to create a society that thrives beyond the limits of Land. The success of SpaceX’s reusable rocket in 2017 is a step in the right direction. However, technology can also be simple and affect our daily lives and businesses.

At my company, one of the technologies that has fundamentally changed the way my team, client, and our vendors engage with each other and work is Zoom. Zoom is one of the best video conferencing and web conferencing platforms on the market.

I love technology because my team is spread across the US and even Europe. Every week we go online with scheduled or unscheduled Zoom meetings in our conference room, which we now call the Zoom room. People can join us anytime from anywhere they have internet access using their desktops, tablets, or smartphones.
