Fleet and Personal Car Reviews: An Unbiased Review of the Mazda 3 1.6D TS2 Nav

The Mazda 3 1.6D TS2 Nav has seen a growth in demand from fleets that can be attributed to its low emissions and fuel economy.

Among the points in favor of this car, I must say that the Mazda 3 1.6D TS2 Nav houses one of my favorite engines in this class, with low maintenance cost and impressive CO2 emission. In the same way that it appeals to the economic side of my nature, it also seems more likely to appeal to business and corporate drivers.

Very reasonable fuel economy makes the Mazda 3 1.6D TS2 Nav stand out during this period of fuel increases, which looks set to be more challenging.

On the one hand this vehicle is very comfortable and easy to drive on the road and on the other hand the Mazda3 1.6D TS2 Nav is so loaded with features that what tempts me is to enjoy changing gears and controlling the steering wheel. At the same time, when driving this car, there is a complete sense of security while on the road.

Some of its additional features include; heated windscreens, sat nav, rear parking sensors, windscreen wipers and auto lights making it a very good car to drive. However, while it packs a lot of impressive features and offers excellent value for money in the hatchback categories, I still have a few minor complaints.

So what are the negative points of this car, which was released in May 2010? Prices start from £13,930 on the road for the 1.6 S.

Well, maybe you can consider the next point to be subjective or touchy, but in my opinion, the satellite navigation is not one of its best features. The screen used in the satellite navigation system is very small and could easily go unnoticed except for the woman’s voice which frequently repeats instructions during long trips.

Another complaint I have is that the Mazda 3 1.6D TS2 Nav’s compartment behind the handbrake where you can put your MP3 player is roomy enough, however the connection cable is very hard to reach.

My sensible, practical side says that these are just a few minor issues, but the overall package of the vehicle is very attractive and encouraging from Mazda. The car is comfortable to drive, handles well and looks great.

My critical side feels that the Mazda 3 1.6D TS2 Nav requires some refinement. Around the city there is some noise with this car that does not attract. Finally, the gasoline equivalent is a bit cheaper, so you have to see the ecological advantages of this car.

Overall though, the Mazda 3 1.6D TS2 Nav is a good choice for fleets and business drivers.
