Swim near Seven Sisters Falls
The island is blessed with waterfalls in various places, but the Seven Sisters Falls are among the most beautiful of all. They plunge into a large pool at the foot of the falls, and many people take the opportunity to take a refreshing dip. This is particularly heavenly if you have chosen to hike to the falls through the rainforest. Whether it rains or not, it doesn’t matter: the forest is as beautiful as the destination you’re heading to.
Relax on the beach of Grand Anse
Many Grenada hotels are very close to some of the most stunning beaches on the island. But Grand Anse beach is regularly mentioned as one of the best of all. Even if you don’t want to relax and soak up the sun, you have two miles of white sand perfect for strolling. Explore the city of St George’s
You cannot visit the island without seeing its capital. You’ll find it located to the southwest, and it’s a popular day trip for those tourists visiting without staying at one of Grenada’s hotels in St George’s. If you are an experienced hiker, you can climb Mount Qua Qua to see the city from above, it offers you a spectacular view. St George’s also has a port and there is a fort nearby, unsurprisingly called Fort George. You can also learn more about the island as a whole by visiting the National Museum, which is housed in a barracks dating back to the early 18th century.
