The importance of diet to improve dream work

Test bombs, oil spills and nuclear disasters like those that occurred in Chenobyl and Fukushima in 2011 have exploded on our planet. We endure the contamination of our skies by chemical traces, our soils are depleted and contaminated with poisons and our water becomes toxic with fluoridation and chlorination. Tests are starting to show that ordinary people who don’t live near nuclear plants show high concentrations of depleted radiation and heavy metals in their bodies. There is an excess of toxic waste floating in the ethers of planet earth. It has reached a point where every human being must protect themselves against depleted radiation, calcium-forming organisms, exotic viruses, fungi, mold, and bacteria. We can do this by eating a pure diet of organic raw foods and superfoods that will detoxify us of these chemicals. What does this have to do with dreaming, you might ask.

Pretty! Dreams are not just isolated on the physical plane because we are not just physical beings. We are multidimensional. We exist on the etheric, emotional, mental and spiritual planes, as well as the physical. Dreams reproduce the actions we take during the day, the emotions we experience, the thoughts we think, and the results of these actions, emotions, and thoughts at all levels of our being. We are also very connected with our planet, with other planets, our solar system, our universe and beyond in a state of unity. When universal, galactic, and planetary changes occur, some people are aware of these changes, but for most, awareness is limited to subconscious levels. These events can be reflected in our dreams. If the subconscious mind is busy juggling the elements of the physical body to keep us alive, what happens in our greatest sphere of influence may not filter through to our dreams. Our focus is refined and reduced to the physical body so that the dreamer can work it out. The physical body is an important light body, as all other light bodies are anchored to it. It is the foundation on which everything else is built.

A good diet and maintaining a healthy and fit body becomes very important for the serious dream worker and spiritual aspirant. Eating small amounts of unprocessed, highly nutritious live foods is ideal for most people. By eating nutrition-dense foods, we actually feel less hungry and are able to eat less food. This gives our digestive system a break and allows our mind to focus on the big picture and what we are really here to do. All this appears in our dreams. With the spiritual energies of the planet flowing more intensely, it is an important time to undergo a detox and begin to improve our diet. Elimination of harmful pathogens is a good place to start. We can do this by simply introducing a small amount of high quality colloidal silver each day. Colloidal silver kills bacteria and viruses without destroying beneficial enzymes the way pharmaceutical antibiotics do. It will also kill strains that are resistant to antibiotics. If you are going to be using colloidal silver for a while, you will need to replace the good bacteria within the body with a good probiotic. You can stretch your probiotic by producing more bacteria. Here’s a good way to do it… take some fresh coconut water and add a tablespoon of probiotic – these living organisms eat the sugar in the coconut water and multiply. Within 24 hours you are left with something that looks like a fizzy drink, from the bottom up. This will replenish the good bacteria within the body very effectively.

It is also beneficial to limit the amount of sugars, fats, potatoes and proteins, whether you are a vegetarian or not. In the book From elephants to Einstein, Rudolph Steiner explains why eating potatoes weakens the midbrain area and how the work of the etheric body prevents proteins in the body from rotting, just as the astral body prevents fats from going rancid while the head area , and therefore also the soul, prevents sugars from fermenting within the body. When we eat more than 30 grams of protein we overload the etheric body, our vital source of life force. When it can’t keep up, the proteins start to break down in the gut and it affects our body odor. This includes both animal and plant proteins, so even vegetarians need to watch their protein intake. Similarly, when we eat excess fats, carbohydrates and sugars, we respectively overload the energies of the astral body and the soul in the head area. While our other light bodies are busy juggling our dietary intakes, no attention can be paid to the spiritual or energetic development of ourselves. All this affects our dreams in a very profound way. If you are serious about dream work and spiritual development, consider taking it to the next level by refining and purifying your diet.
