Pros and Cons of Lifecore Adjustable Dumbbells

With all the guaranteed benefits of strength training through weight lifting, I would really consider buying adjustable weight dumbbells. If you have a home gym and are looking for a good set of dumbbells, then Lifecore dumbbells are one of the best options. A Lifecore dumbbell set can be a great addition to your home gym and an efficient tool for your weight training. However, before the actual purchase, it is advisable that you learn about the benefits and disadvantages of a particular product that you want to buy. This way you will be happy and satisfied with your investment and you will not end up full of regrets.

If you are going to buy Lifecore dumbbells, here are several things to know:

PROS
• Lifecore dumbbells come with commercial plated cast iron plates that really look cool and unique.
• Comes with a sturdy bracket that can be moved and can also be locked into place.
• The Lifecore dumbbell set saves space and is cost effective. Its two sets can replace 22 or 44 sets of hex dumbbells, saving you more money.
• Its resistance starts at 5 pounds going up to a maximum resistance of 55 pounds and adjustable in 2.5 increments.
• Use neoprene grips which may be more comfortable than steel grips.

CONS
• Lifecore is cheaper than traditional hex dumbbells, but more expensive than Powerblock and Weider Powerswitch. Lifecore costs around $549.
• Weight change is easy, but not as easy as weight change with Powerblock and Weider Powerswitch. When simply fitting the plates on a Powerblock, Lifecore will require you to slide a bar up or down.
• Lifecore is larger and less compact compared to other adjustable dumbbell systems.
