Things to consider before bringing a Miele vacuum into your home

Miele vacuum cleaners, known for their standard of quality and German engineering, offer a large number of possible configurations to their customers. Choosing between such a wide number of options is sometimes too overwhelming for the customer. Good! That’s what we’re here for, right?

Basically, Miele makes only 5 vacuum cleaners divided into 2 categories:

Miele canister vacuum cleaner consisting of

1. Class C1 (S2 above) – The most basic of all Miele vacuums, it offers quality on the budget. Easily affordable to many, it lacks a sealed system. HEPA filtration is only available on one model. They lack a soundproofing system, but they are much quieter than their counterparts.

2. C2 Compact (older S6): With almost the same configurations as a C3, it has a slightly smaller dust bag. It lacks the HEPA filtration which can be added if desired. Cheaper and lighter, it can be a great alternative to your C3, if there’s that pocket to look at too.

3. C3 Complete (formerly S8) – A complete package with HEPA filtration and all the features you won’t find in other canisters. Largest in size, these vacuum cleaners are also the most expensive.

Miele upright vacuum cleaner consisting of

1. H1 Swing – This is a small broom model that is not designed to do the full cleaning task, but can be used as a secondary vacuum in your home.

2. U1 Dynamic – It’s the best bot transformed into a vertical, which makes it even harder to avoid. With the largest dust bags and maximum cleaning reach, prices vary widely depending on the model you choose.

Rest, it’s all just a unique set of features that you can choose to make your own vacuum, perfect for your home.

The following is a quick list of factors to consider when deciding on your own Miele:

Is HEPA filter required?

Now, if you suffer from any type of allergy or asthma, we highly recommend the HEPA filter. Miele HEPA filtration is among the best for removing ultrafine particles that can aggravate your respiratory condition. Fully tested and certified, its superior filtration shows a zero reading on the particle counter.

Vacuums with HEPA filters are:

1. Miele classic c1 titan canister vacuum cleaner

2. Miele complete c3 brilliant HEPA

3. Miele complete c3 alize

4. Complete miele c3 marine

5. Complete miele c3 calima

6. Miele complete c3 kona

7. Dynamic Jazz u1 by Miele

8. Miele dynamic u1 autoecho

Less efficient AirClean filters are available on the following models, but HEPA filtration is optional on all of these:

1. Miele c2 compact series

2. Miele dynamic u1 rotary vacuum cleaner

3. Miele classic c1 capri

4. miele classic c1 delphi

5. Miele classic c1 olympus

6. Miele h1 tilting vacuum cleaners

Container or vertical?

Both models are the best versions of themselves. They both contain the same filtration and suction standard, so choosing one depends solely on the type of vacuum you’re most comfortable with. However, if you do not have a particular preference in this, you can buy a boat, if you have mostly bare floors or high-end carpets and rugs. Go vertical if you have wall-to-wall cut-pile carpeting.

What kind of soil do you have?

The key to selecting your Miele is to match it to the type of flooring you have at home. Depending on your requirements, you can save a great deal of money and time by making the right choice.

If you have carpet throughout your home, U1 dynamic is the clear choice, as all of its models work perfectly on even the thickest carpet. With an independent motor, automatic height adjustment, and separate brushroll control, the U1s can clean any type of carpet, as well as smooth floors.

If you have all the rugs but prefer a bin, then you would have to go for the Miele electric toothbrush models which are the C3 series:

1. Miele full c3 brilliant

2. Miele complete c3 cat and dog

3. Complete miele c3 marine

4. Miele complete c3 kona

For low to medium pile rugs and rugs, Miele has some suitable inexpensive models:

1. miele classic c1 delphi

2. Miele classic c1 titan

3. Miele compact c2 topaz

If you have mostly smooth floors with low pile carpet, these might be your options:

1. Miele classic c1 olympus

2. Miele compact c2 quartz

3. Miele complete c3 alize

size of your house

1. The Miele U1 and C3 series are well equipped to handle larger houses. The choice depends on your own personal preference or other factors when taken into consideration.

2. For standard size homes or smaller, the C2 Series with Clean Air Filtration is a perfect choice. In case you are allergic, you can always add HEPA filtration to this model. Lighter in weight, they are easy to handle and maneuver throughout the home and therefore become the best option for smaller homes. However, if economy is to be considered, the C1 series can give you the same level of performance with a large vacuum bag.

That’s it with the tips. I hope this helps you make an informed decision. For rest, we are just a call / click from you.
