Who is Sanjay Nair?

I have always found it very difficult to explain this question as I find myself being only a small part of the infinite universe. My existence is just a small drop in the great ocean. I am continually evolving and trying to understand my life purpose while spending time in this transitory place called Mother Earth.

Who is Sanjay Nair: more than the linear window

Linearly, if I want to describe myself, my name is Sanjay Nair, I got my B.Pharm and MBA with 8.5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with 7.5 years in product management. Since then, since 2007, I have participated in the 9 project and the website of the rise of femininity according to the call of my soul. After all these years, I have come to realize quite clearly that my existence is “not all about” me, and therefore I feel that it is very superficial to see myself from a linear window.

Who is Sanjay Nair: Systems Window

When I see myself through the systems window, I clearly understand my purpose on earth and how to progress towards it. This evolution has been happening up to now and will continue to happen as I move forward in my life. To give an idea of what I have mentioned above, let me explain my academic and professional life so far through the systems window.

Who is Sanjay Nair: The first attraction to the field of medicine and pharmacy

When I was in ninth grade, I saw a program on television (1988) about the pharmaceutical industry. Those days it was just Doordarshan and this program that was shown on Doordarshan had a big impact on me. It was registered in my subconscious mind in a positive way. After class 10, I opted for Biology, Chemistry and Physics as subjects. I developed a natural penchant for biology and chemistry and began to study these subjects on my own with great interest.

Who is Sanjay Nair: Fascination and inclination towards Life Sciences and Chemistry

In class 11, when we had to submit a biology project, I made a 3D cell membrane structure that was awarded as the best project of the class and this was the only model that my biology teacher, Tandon Madam, kept in the lab of biology. (1990-Kendriya Vidyalaya, 1 STC Jabalpur). In class 12 (1991-Kendriya Vidyalaya, Cannanore Cantonment Area) I really liked my biology teacher, Mrs. Srilekha Kumaran. In one of the class tests she did very well with my work. I had written this article with my applied thinking elaborating each answer in depth. After the correction of the work, my biology teacher called me and told me that she had a great ability to understand the subject “biology” and that she should improve this ability continuously. She said that she was surprised to see the way she had written the article. She said that she never expected this from me. This was the turning point in my life towards self-discovery. I wrote my 12th board with only 2 months of continuous self-study, understanding in depth each subject which is biology, chemistry and physics. I got the highest score in Biology on the board exams among all my jobs.

Who is Sanjay Nair: Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences

After the 12th, I had the option to go to Hotel Administration or Pharmacy. I remembered the program I had seen on television in 1988. I also remembered how much I liked Biology and Chemistry. I just opted for pharmacy (NGSM College of Pharmacy, Mangalore) without any further thought. My fondness for Biology and Chemistry helped me to understand in depth each subject of my pharmacy career and apply it in my theoretical and practical exams. I developed a great taste for human physiology, pharmacology, biochemistry and microbiology. I had great equations with my pharmacology professor, Mr. David Banjee, and had a great fascination with my analytical chemistry professor, Mrs. Krishna priya. I also fondly remember my professors of pharmacy and pharmacognosy, Ms. Geeta and Ms. Shanti, respectively.

Who is Sanjay Nair: Bachelor of Business Administration

After my B.Pharm, I developed a fascination with serving the corporate pharmaceutical industry. I remember telling my colleagues at B.Pharm that I would like to go into the industry directly as a medical representative or do my MBA and go into product management in the industry. I went on to do my MBA from VAMNICOM in Pune and then entered the industry. The MBA gave me stereoscopic vision along with my scientific training. So, one eye was the “eye of science” and the second eye became the “eye of business management”.

Who is Sanjay Nair: The founding years

The next 8 and a half years in the industry were like magic in my life. I have been walking the path of my life with great focus. I acquired great scientific and managerial knowledge in these years, which I had applied throughout my career to “achieve results of magical proportions”. These were the years in which I developed a deep interest and experience in innovative management principles such as “execution” as well as strong scientific skills to deeply understand and communicate the “intrinsic strengths” of a pharmaceutical molecule.

Who is Sanjay Nair: scientific vision for the betterment of humanity

Somehow, new molecules and drugs came into my life waiting to be explored and turned into big brands in the last 8 and a half years of my career. I can’t believe now that I was somehow instrumental in turning the NSAID market in India upside down. I have also been very involved in cardiac medicine and even during my last assignment managing NSAIDs, the positive turn came for the brand of NSAID (aceclofenac) I was managing due to my identification of cardiac side effects of a class of NSAIDs. called COXIBs and attacking them directly with all the international scientific evidence, while positioning the unique safety and efficacy of aceclofenac as an NSAID with more than 10 years of clinical evidence.

Who is Sanjay Nair: Delving into the practice of management

On the other hand, I also got my hands on excellent management books including “Execution” by Larry Bossidy and Ram Charan, “The Fifth Discipline” by Peter Senge “Winning” by Jack Welch and understood the concepts of strategy and execution in detail. I also understood the importance of human resource management in great detail during my product management career. I not only understood and assimilated these concepts and principles, but also practically applied them in my professional and personal life.

Who is Sanjay Nair: The Change Years

The years 2006 and 2007 were very unfulfilling years as I was somehow unable to move towards my life vision and purpose. There was a great upheaval in my internal and external environment. I learned great lessons and developed great insights into how I was knocked into the negative and vicious reinforcement structures part of which I was responsible for creating in the first place. I quit my last job and pushed myself to achieve my life vision and purpose. I had identified the vision and purpose of my life. I had chosen to pursue my vision with creative tension rather than emotional tension. This has given me great strength to prepare the initial plan for “PROJECT-9”, as well as the determination to put continuous efforts towards increasing the website’s femininity.

Who is Sanjay Nair: The stereoscopic view of science and management

As I progressed towards the preparation of PROJECT-9, I could now appreciate my background in science (especially biology and chemistry and its application in the molecular and cell biology-based drug discovery process in cardiac medicine) and management (learning organization based on the fifth discipline) and how they are helping me move forward with Project-9. As I mentioned before, Science & Management is giving me a stereoscopic view to understand the complex drug discovery process based on dynamic and detailed complexity as well as systemic structure of generative and creative learning organization respectively.

Who is Sanjay Nair: The “Rise of Womanhood” Website

Additionally, the Rise of Womanhood website that I am currently working on is an effort to bring Project 9 to the wider world, especially to “women,” with a message of a fresh start for creative and generative living. The Rise of Womanhood website will drive a global force toward awakening the feminine. The creation of a project-9 based learning organization will be one of the manifestations of this female awakening.

Who is Sanjay Nair: Movement towards the purpose of life

That was a glimpse of the “real Sanjay Nair” from a systems window perspective. There are many more perspectives. They all fit together anyway according to the need of the universe just like all the pieces of a puzzle. I am moving in a magical way towards the discovery and fulfillment of my life’s purpose.
