WotLK Gold Farming: One-Time Method to Get Gold for Flying Mount Riding Epic Skill

Accumulating 5,000 gold for the craftsman riding skill is a tough nut to crack for many World of Warcraft players. However, there are plenty of quick and easy ways to scrape together that amount, especially now, in the WotLK era. Therefore, I will point out in this article, a good method to farm gold in WotLK, get even more than you need for the flying mount riding epic skill.

This is my favorite method of farming gold in WotLK, but it may not work as well for any other WoW player. That’s because there are some requirements for it. This is what you need to make gold with my method.

Requirements:

1. At least a level 80, good character oriented. I know there are players out there who are just working on their first WoW toon and are not level 80 yet. In that case, I would suggest other methods besides this one. Grinding and/or gathering works perfectly for making gold while leveling up a character.

2. Leader experience in raids. That’s right, you may have guessed that what you’ll be farming can be found in one of the WotLK raid instances. Therefore, to have full authority over loot from a raid, you must organize and lead one yourself.

3. Icecrown Citadel Experience. You should know the tactics of the first 4 bosses in ICC at least, and not just from your character’s perspective. You have to know exactly what each class needs to do for each match, so you can assign the tasks correctly. Otherwise, the raid will fail, players might mark you as a newbie and never join your raids again.

If you know how to lead a raid and have enough ICC experience, this method of farming gold in WotLK is quite simple. Once you’ve assembled your raid party and are ready to go, reserve the BoE items and/or Primordial Saronite for yourself. Or at least reserve the first BoE item that will drop. Most of the BoE epics in ICC sell for over 5000g and from the start to the fourth boss, at least one of these items will drop.

Now, as I said at the beginning of this article, this method of farming gold in WotLK is not for everyone. It’s best applied to hardcore players, but even if you’re a casual player with little raid experience, you can still pull it off.
